Long long time ago, even before the smart phones were
introduced our lives, this little courageous girl was born to be a strong and
independent individual as her parents encouraged her to be active, curious,
sensible and considerate…
She was never raised as the princess of the family but
always as the right-hand of her parents. Some may say that was the fast forward
to adulthood from childhood.
In defiance of her little hands, she enjoyed learning how to
cook, how to fix TV, or even how to do small constructions. Her eagerness to
discover new things never slowed down while the scars on her legs and arms
accompanied to her journey…
As time goes by, but when she was still a little kid,
friendship and love came to the light, fear was yet to come...
Fear had never been the main driver of her actions but still
had a big presence in her later stages of life while she was walking slowly
towards adolescence.
Who the hell fed that feeling!!?
Maybe just her sense of responsibility or the expectations
of other people created that shield to protect herself from getting hurt.
Unlike her childhood “explorer” mind, she couldn’t feel the power of
discovering her vulnerabilities. That’s why she didn’t know what to do when she
discovered her deepest fear of “losing her precious”
Piling new experiences does not always come with a nice
shiny package, sometimes it brings the dust and the thorn. First love means a
lot for most of the people but she never remembered her first crush.
Ah by the way… what does it define and record the
unforgettable moments? Or, how do we stick to the certain memories?? Maybe just
resonance matters the most.
Anyway… she never
remembered how she fell for that guy, maybe at first sight… Such a pure and
innocent feeling for a teen! Passionate enough to live on the edges of the
life! Yeah being a teenager deserves that, right?
But that love was too big enough for her to give up her
first memorable crush! Or maybe fear was involved just to keep her safe from
the consequences of “losing her precious”…
Giving up on your love just to hold onto safe haven!
Or
Giving up on the moment to guarantee your future!
Such a wise decision for a child!
Hence, she decided to turn him down, chose her friendship
over love! Here comes the Hollywood-ish part of the story.. this time girl left
the town, both had lovers but friendship remained the same!
But everyone knows that the most striking shot comes from
the place we don’t pay attention, right? Just the way it goes...
Even tough she didn’t want to discover this lands, two
lessons had been learnt:
- you feared the most comes at last
- unforgettable moments are the ones we will not have time
for one last goodbye
